Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has shed light on the tactical and cultural shift driving the club’s resurgence under Michael Carrick’s leadership at Old Trafford.
Reflecting on a decisive victory against Tottenham Hotspur on February 7, 2026, the Portuguese playmaker expressed his enthusiasm for the squad’s transformation and the positive atmosphere surrounding the new era.
The 2-0 triumph over a 10-man Spurs side propelled Carrick into the history books as only the third United manager to win his first four competitive fixtures. This feat serves as a stark contrast to his predecessor, Ruben Amorim, who never managed a four-game winning streak during his 63-match tenure.
