Chelsea is preparing for a highly active summer transfer window as the club continues to reshape its first-team roster. Following the appointment of Xabi Alonso as head coach, several players face uncertain futures at Stamford Bridge, with the club reportedly ready to clear space by greenlighting multiple departures.
A handful of notable names have already been tipped for potential exits from Chelsea this summer, which includes:
- Alejandro Garnacho
- Liam Delap
- Malo Gusto
- Trevoh Chalobah
- Wesley Fofana
- Tosin Adarabioyo
Defensive Restructuring and Key Targets
While a few of these players are drawing significant attention from clubs across Europe, others may be sold out of necessity to balance the squad and raise capital for incoming transfers.
Among the backline, Trevoh Chalobah is currently considered a prime candidate for a move, with Serie A outfit Como allegedly tabling a concrete bid that Chelsea is assessing. Concurrently, right-back Malo Gusto has popped up on the radar of rival suitors, with Manchester City among those keeping tabs on his situation.

The futures of Wesley Fofana and Tosin Adarabioyo also hang in the balance as the club contemplates a defensive face-lift. Meanwhile, the long-term status of attackers Alejandro Garnacho and Liam Delap will likely be evaluated during the upcoming pre-season tour.
Ultimately, Chelsea’s hierarchy is expected to navigate both buying and selling markets aggressively over the coming weeks, ensuring Alonso is equipped with a squad capable of challenging for silverware.
