Just a year after departing Manchester United, Alejandro Garnacho may be set for another transfer, with Aston Villa surprisingly entering the race for the Chelsea winger.
Following Morgan Rogers’ record-breaking departure to Stamford Bridge, Villa have reportedly initiated discussions to sign the 22-year-old Argentine international. Unai Emery views Garnacho as an ideal candidate to fill the void and bolster his attacking frontline ahead of the upcoming Premier League season.

Villa’s proposal is understood to be a loan agreement with a conditional obligation to buy, a structure Chelsea may consider as they continue to revamp their squad. Garnacho’s inaugural campaign in London was underwhelming, netting only a single Premier League goal while struggling to command a regular starting role.
